- Bramble Ridge Honey Farm - local honey
Brodheadsville, PA. Email: fjlicata@yahoo.com. Open: mostly online sales and in local
stores, see their website. Bramble Ridge Honey Farm facebook page. Their
apiaries are located in Susquehanna county, Pennsylvania, in the middle of farm country and in Monroe and Pike Counties, Pennsylvania, in the
Pocono Mountains. We currently run 150 hives in 8 locations. Each year, we expand a bit more due to the demand for high quality raw honey. With
thousands of acres of fields and trees surrounding our hives, we are able to collect some wonderful varieties of honey. In Spring, we get Black
Locust, Tulip Poplar, Blackberry and Raspberry blooms in addition to the multitude of other nectar sources. Summer can bring a large basswood
harvest, and in the Fall our Japanese Knotweed, Golden Rod and Aster bloom is a big producer. Depending on many factors such as weather, timing,
hive strength, etc, at times we can collect a honey that is a varietal of one plant, but in many cases, the honey is a mixture of many plant
nectars Here at Bramble Ridge Honey Farm, we are dedicated to bringing you the best quality honey and products from
the hives that we can. We take care to make sure all our products are fresh and natural. Our honeys are taken from hive to bottle with minimal
processing to retain all the good things in honey. Our lotions use only the best natural oils and essential oils. Our Candles are 100% pure
beeswax, which are clean burning and actually clean the air. Our soap is made the old fashioned way using cold process.
Our hives are all kept in a natural way. We use NO PESTICIDES in our hives. That makes our jobs even harder, but to us, its worth it. We
don't want any additional chemicals in our bodies and we are sure you don't want any in yours either. Our biggest customers are our family and
friends, and we certainly would never produce honey that was anything but 100% natural and healthy. The same goes for our lotions, balms, and
soap products.
